I recently had the pleasure of staying at a charming log cabin nestled by the lake, and I can confidently say it was one of the most delightful getaways I’ve ever experienced. From the moment we arrived, the serene surroundings and rustic charm of the cabin set the stage for a perfect retreat.
Accommodations: The log cabin itself was beautifully constructed, boasting a warm and inviting atmosphere. The wooden beams and cozy furnishings made it feel like a home away from home. We stayed in a spacious room with large windows that offered stunning views, especially during sunrise and sunset. The beds were incredibly comfortable, ensuring restful nights after our days of exploration.
Indoor Pool: One of the highlights of our stay was the indoor pool. It was well-maintained and spacious, perfect for both relaxation and a little fun. The pool area was equipped with comfortable lounge chairs, making it an ideal spot to unwind after a swim. Plus, the convenience of having an indoor pool meant we could enjoy it regardless of the weather outside. Location: The location of the cabin was simply perfect. Situated right by the lake, it provided endless opportunities for outdoor activities. The peacefulness of the area was a welcome escape from the hustle and bustle of daily life.
Amenities: In addition to the indoor pool, the cabin was equipped with all the amenities we could need. The kitchen was fully stocked, allowing us to prepare meals easily. Everything felt thoughtfully curated to enhance our experience.
Customer Service: The hosts were incredibly welcoming and attentive. They provided us with all the information we needed for our stay and were just a message away if we had any questions. Their hospitality truly made us feel like valued guests.
Conclusion: Overall, our stay at the lakeside log cabin with an indoor pool was nothing short of magical. It was the perfect blend of relaxation, adventure, and comfort. Our stay was amazing! From the minute we pulled up to the gate we knew we chose the right place. Someone was there to show us around and tell us all about the house and its many features. This place has everything you need. Even an indoor pool! The location was ideal—close enough to downtown Lake Geneva for dining and shopping, but far enough to feel like a peaceful retreat. The host was incredibly welcoming, and the communication was seamless throughout our stay. Highly recommend for anyone looking to enjoy the beauty of Lake Geneva. We can’t wait to return!

I had a fantastic experience staying at South Elder Acres. The log cabin was exactly as described in the listing—spotlessly clean, beautifully decorated, and incredibly cozy. The pool in the basement made for a phenomenal spot for a night cap. It was the perfect home base for exploring Lake Geneva, with all the amenities you could need. Especially the indoor pool. The location was ideal and secure (with your own private gate)! The host did a great job communicating and even greeted us with an individual assistant to give us a run down on how certain amenities work. I would highly recommend this place to anyone visiting Lake Geneva. We thoroughly enjoyed as South Elder Acres played host to a golf/bachelor weekend. I hope to stay here again on my next golf trip!!
